Jeju Island Seongsan Cooperation City Hotel, enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and sea

The World Heritage "Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak" is one of the representative attractions of Jeju Island. This time, I chose the Seongsan Co-op City Hotel (Co-op City Hotel) near Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak for accommodation in the east of Jeju. On the first day of arrival, we went to Seopjikoji to watch the sunset, and the next morning we went to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and then drove to Udo for a half-day Tour.

Hotel location

The location of Seongsan Cooperation City Hotel is very good. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the famous Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. It is about 1.2 kilometers away from the Seongsan Port Passenger Terminal. It is also very convenient to go to Udo. It is an ideal place to stay on the east side of Jeju Island.

Hotel introduction






The hotel has a simple and modern appearance, and there are shared scooters next to it. There is a flat parking lot on each side of the hotel, both of which are not large. If the parking lot on the first floor is full, there is a larger parking lot on the second floor, so you don’t have to worry about running out of parking spaces. One of the parking lots is gravel. If you have luggage, it is recommended to unload your luggage before parking. The parking lot near the hotel entrance provides bus parking spaces, electric vehicle parking spaces and temporary parking spaces, making it convenient for guests to load and unload luggage or let the elderly and children get off the bus first.

From this angle, you can see the relative position of the hotel and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. There is a small 7-11 supermarket on the first floor of the hotel, which is only open from 8:30~10:30 and 17:00~23:00 for guests to shop. In addition, there is a GS25 on the first floor of another hotel next door (opening hours: 7:00~01:00). If you feel hungry at night, at least there is a place where you can buy something.







The hotel has two free washing and drying machines, but because the washing + drying process takes too long, in order to allow more guests to use it, only the laundry function can be used, and you must take it back to the room to dry after washing. (You can buy laundry detergent at the counter for ₩1,000). The terrace on the top floor is a good place to enjoy the scenery. You can enjoy the charming scenery of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and the bay.






Room introduction

The rooms are designed in the colors of orange, green tea, rapeseed flowers and the sea. There are room types with different orientations facing the sea, mountains and city views. Standard rooms have a choice of one large bed or two small beds, while deluxe rooms offer a choice of one large bed or one large bed plus one single bed. The deluxe twin room is 23 meters in size, about 7 ping, and can accommodate up to 3 people. It is slightly larger than the standard twin room.



The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the sink is outside the bathroom. The hotel promotes environmental protection, so no disposable supplies are provided in the room. If necessary, you can purchase toothpaste, toothbrush set or razor at the counter (₩1,000 each)










The deluxe sea view twin room is 24 square meters in size. The sea view is facing the sea. Unlike the sea view rooms in some hotels, there are many buildings in the view, and you can barely see a little of the sea.





The bathroom configuration is different from the city view room, and the place to hang clothes seems a bit cramped. If you don’t want to go out, it’s good to watch the sunset from your room.

The breakfast provided by the hotel is from 7:00 to 10:00. The original price is ₩20,000 for adults, and the special price is ₩15,000; the original price is ₩15,000 for children aged 3 to 12, and the special price is ₩12,000.

Breakfast is served in the Mobydick restaurant on the second floor, which has a spacious dining environment. Although the meals are not exquisite, they have basic bread, salad, yogurt, eggs, ham, as well as white rice, several kinds of kimchi, hot food, seaweed and other Korean food, so it is not a problem to be full.





Although there are many hotels near Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, most of them are small hotels or B&Bs. Seongsan Cooperation City Hotel is one of the larger hotels with more modern decoration. The hotel has a good location and beautiful scenery. If you plan to visit scenic spots in the east of Jeju Island, it is a good choice.
