What do you have three days to do in this chaotic city with a history of 1000 years, colorful scenery, and rampant motorcycles? Of course, you can directly participate in it and sample it. Therefore, we visited the Vietnamese capital Hanoi and compiled this three-day travel guide, telling us where to go and what to do: hotels in Hanoi are cheap and relatively easy to find. During our visit, we didn't want to book a room without knowing the actual situation, so we booked a night online at the Golden Hotel in Hanoi for less than $30.
We also ordered airport transfers. The old district of Hanoi is about a 45 minute drive from the airport, and we know it shouldn't cost more than $10, but we chose the $15 space shuttle because the last thing we want to do is take a dishonest taxi late at night. The hotel and room were both good, but we still checked out and left. We want to try our luck elsewhere. It took about an hour to find the Golden Lotus Hotel, which is a good hotel priced at $50 per night. A Tripadvisor customer commented on the Golden Lotus Hotel, saying, "I decided to check it out again the next day and found a very quiet room on the top floor with lovely staff and a great balcony. Staying at GL Hotel for another night is worth losing money.
