Actually, it's not that there is too much to see in Hanoi-the city can be done in two to three days. It is suggested to lodge next to Huanjian Lake, as the best street food and delicacies are within walking distance from Huanjian Lake.
The first destination is recommended to board the sightseeing bus. First, do a bus trip to familiarize yourself with the best points in the neighborhood and to see where you will take a stroll. Note that it doesn't run on Saturdays and Sundays.
For the second stop, walk along the quite small Thirty-Six Streets-a rather unique old city area.
The third is to visit Train Street and experience the feel of sitting at a table on the street, drinking coffee while the train passes by.
For your fourth stop, you must stop by St. Joseph's Cathedral. Snap a picture; there are cafés close by where you can sit and grab a coffee while feeling the local buzz.
Fifth stop-go to the internet-famous coffee place to grab a card! If that's not your jam, bypass the coffee shop for the KFC on the second floor across the street or the upstairs of a nearby coffee shop with some great views. Very pretty cool, and it's a nice place to chill for an afternoon. # Hanoi, Vietnam # The leisure-side shops in the streets of Hanoi, Vietnam
