Kota Tua Jakarta, also known as Oud Batavia, is an important historical and cultural area in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. This area was once the center of the Dutch colonial period and retains many Dutch-style buildings and historical sites. The center of the old city is Fatahirah Square, surrounded by the Jakarta History Museum, the Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, the Marian Church, the Puppet Museum, the Suada Port and the historic Batavia Cafe, Cafe Batavia.
The entire old city is not big and can be visited in half a day. The distance between the various attractions is also very close. The buildings are all in the 17th century Dutch style, colorful and especially photogenic. Friends who Travel to Indonesia are worth spending half a day to visit and sightsee.
