Dear traveler, I fully understand the anticipation and excitement you feel as you prepare to embark on a new journey. As a solo traveler exploring Beijing, I would like to share some personal experiences and suggestions with you, hoping to add a special touch to your trip to Beijing. Preparation before departure 1. The choice of transportation: I chose the airplane because the discounted airfare is not only affordable, but also a novel adventure for me as someone who has never flown before. 2. Travel itinerary: Beijing has as many attractions as stars. I suggest you plan your itinerary in advance and schedule your time reasonably. During my five-day and four night trip to Beijing, despite the long duration, I was unable to visit all the attractions, especially the tickets to the Forbidden City, which was a great regret for me. But this regret also became my motivation to return to Beijing again.
Recommended attractions and experiences 1. The Forbidden City: The Forbidden City is a must visit destination in Beijing. I suggest you book your tickets in advance because the daily limit is 12000 people. The grandeur and profound historical culture of the Forbidden City have left a deep impression on me. Although I cannot enter, standing outside the door, I can still feel its historical atmosphere, as if I can hear the echoes of history. 2. The Great Wall: The Badaling Great Wall is one of my most unforgettable experiences. Standing on the Great Wall, you can feel the weight of history and the magnificence of nature. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, because there are many steps on the Great Wall that can be difficult to climb, but when you stand on the beacon tower, the sense of achievement and shock is indescribable. 3. Summer Palace: The tranquility and harmony of the Summer Palace make me linger and forget to leave. The beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, as well as the exquisite garden design, made me feel the luxury and delicacy of royal gardens, as if I had returned to that glorious era. 4. Tiananmen Square: Tiananmen Square is a must visit place for every tourist. There is a solemn flag raising ceremony on the square every day, which is awe inspiring. Standing on the square, you can feel the solemnity of the country and the weight of its history.
Travel Tip 1. ID card: Be sure to bring your ID card when going out. The security measures around Tiananmen Square are very strict. This is a respect for safety and a guarantee for travel. 2. Accommodation: The prices in Beijing are relatively high. Suggest booking the hotel in advance. You can choose hotels that cooperate with tourist attractions to get more favorable prices. A good accommodation environment can make your travel more comfortable and enjoyable. 3. Tour guide service: If you are going to Beijing for the first time, it is recommended to find a local tour guide, which can save a lot of trouble. The tour guide's explanation will give you a better experience.
