This Trip to Thailand, I finally went to Phuket. Maybe this is too familiar to most people, so I didn't do much strategy before going. I thought I could just play around, but in fact, Phuket is different from other cities in Thailand. I summarized the Travel strategy of Phuket for friends who are going there.
Transportation
✅ In Phuket, bolt is indeed cheaper than grab, but it is also expensive
✅ How to get to the city from the airport
1. You can call a taxi on the app, but it is more expensive
2. At the airport pick-up point, there is: taxi-minibus, which is cheaper than online taxis, and you don’t have to wait much, and you can arrive in about an hour
3. Airport bus
Basically departs at every hour, the cheapest is 100 baht, and only cash is accepted. Covers the main scenic spots in Phuket.
✅ Can I take a tuk-tuk?
You can sit, but I didn't because I heard that they charge a high price.
✅ Rent a motorcycle
👉 We rented a motorcycle for the whole trip. I think it's much more cost-effective than taking a taxi. It takes about half an hour to ride a motorcycle between points.
👉 If you rent, you need to bring your passport to register.
Be sure to ask a few more companies. The price of the general model is about 300 baht. You can bargain if you rent for more days. You need to refuel yourself.
Phuket travel route
We live near Patong Beach, so we walk on the beach every day. Day 1 Sea view cliff coffee + Phuket Old Street. This cliff coffee is called commune, not the internet celebrity coffee. Trust me, don't go to that internet celebrity cliff coffee. It's full of people and the experience is not good.
Phuket Old Street is the filming location of the movie "Love in Your Heart". You must go there in the evening. The sunset here is really amazing with the old street. The whole town is bathed in the dim sunset.
📷Main check-in and photo spots:
Yuanchuntang👉Yuanchuntang left intersection👉the memory at on on hotel (photography is not allowed inside now)👉Dingguangtang👉Phuket Town Walking Street👉dibuk restaurant👉Tutorial school (next to dibuk restaurant).
Day 2 Phi Phi Island, a one-day Tour. Phi Phi Island (snorkeling)👉Little Phi Phi Island (Bird's Nest Cave + Paradise Bay + Lover's Beach)👉 Honeymoon Island (watching dolphins + snorkeling).
Day 3 Karon Beach + Duty Free Shop. (Black Stone across Phuket can also be visited if you have enough time)
Notes
1. Be sure to bring enough cash, the ATM fee here is high
2. Food: roadside stalls or night markets, the prices are cheap and affordable
