Yueyang is really worth going shopping. It is not just the millennium heritage of Yueyang Tower and Dongting Lake in textbooks. It's interesting to take advantage of this warm winter to shoot a big movie and choose a sunny weekend. [Travel itinerary] Day 1: Yueyang Tower → Yueyang Confucian Temple → Luohe Street → Dongting Pavilion Square → Dongting Pavilion Lake Changdi → Yuxiang Dongting South Road → Yueyang Port Industrial Park → Cheri Tower → Christian Yueyang Hall → Dongting South Road (watching sunset) → Pedestrian Street. Day 2: Yueyang Museum → China Giant Panda Park → St. Andrew's Temple → Church School → Drifting Tail (Watching Sunset)
Yueyang Tower: One of the four famous ancient Chinese towers, built in the Eastern Han Dynasty and famous for the "Yueyang Tower" of the Northern Song Dynasty. (Ticket: $10 (half price for senior students). Reciting 'Yueyang Tower' for free (limited quota, advance reservation required). Business hours: 07:00-18:30. The sunset must be a highlight, and the city gate is a frame view that happens to be the water on the ground. The reflection in the water is the distant Dongting Lake. It's pretty. Cheri Tower: Many ancient pagodas from the Song Dynasty are suitable for photography in the surrounding areas. Church School: The former site of Binhu University was located during the Republic of China era, with 13 cultural relics buildings situated on the banks of Dongting Lake and beautiful scenery.
[Travel Tips] 1. Yueyang is not big, usually two or three days are enough, suitable for weekend or short holiday travel. 2. The specialties of Luohe Street are not recommended, you can go to nearby shops. Museums are closed on Monday, don't be nervous. 4. Go to the panda park in the morning and sleep in the afternoon. The distance between various scenic spots in Yueyang is not far. The direct city walking path to Yueyang Tower allows for taxi rides and is not expensive. 6. The Saint Sulpice Tower requires an additional $1.5, which I personally think is worth it. Yueyang's barbecue is very famous and delicious, but the price is not low.
