Bohol travel notes, Alona Beach gathers food, massage shops and entertainment activities

Bohol was the first stop of this Spring Festival Trip, and I stayed here for three nights. I originally planned to take an OW diving certificate, but because of physical reasons, I canceled the diving arrangement, so I only experienced some relaxing activities.

The overall atmosphere on the island is relatively quiet. If there is no diving or other specific activities, it may feel a bit monotonous. The days we went there were mostly cloudy, lacking the bright blue sea and blue sky on sunny days. If you like lively, you can go to the Alona Beach area, where the island's restaurants, massage shops and entertainment projects are mainly concentrated.

Activity experience

1. Pamilacan Island Watching Dolphins and Snorkeling
This trip is very worthwhile, and I successfully saw a lot of wild dolphins. The snorkeling experience is also very good, the water is clear, the corals are well preserved, and I also encountered several turtles and other interesting marine life.

2. Watching Whale Sharks
This activity feels average, the waiting time is long, and there are many people after entering the water, which is a bit crowded. Whale sharks are artificially raised, and the overall experience is not very natural. It is recommended to skip it if time is limited.

3. Sardines Storm (recommended)
We didn't go because of the schedule, but it's said that the experience was very good. It was spectacular to see schools of sardines swimming underwater. I must go there next time if I have the chance.

Food and massage. There are not many choices for food, but there are some good restaurants: Bougainvillea Spanish Restaurant: seafood rice and grilled octopus are good, worth trying.
Ubeco: A restaurant with a good reputation, but I think it's average.

Massage is highly recommended, cheap, and professional. I went for a massage every day after shopping, and it was very relaxing. Bohol is suitable for people who like quiet or plan to dive. Although this trip was a bit regrettable, it was a comfortable start. I wish you all a happy new year!
