A personal guide to Halekulani Hotel in Okinawa. Traveling in the off-season in mid-March, the price of booking for three consecutive nights is pretty good. Departing from Shanghai, I arrived at 1:30 pm. I checked the direct shuttle bus time of the airport in advance, which was awkward, so I booked Alpha's car to pick me up at the airport in advance.
I booked a premium sea view room at Halekulani Hotel. The room view is as shown in the picture (or go to the homepage video). It is on the beach wing building, but it is not directly facing the iconic swimming pool. It is on the right side to see the sea, but the view is also good~ The floor I stayed on was the 7th floor. If it was lower, it would be average. It seemed to be the 15th floor in general. It should be noted that this room type is a "corridor-entry" type, and it is far from all hotels and lobbies. The only one close is the diving center.
Because I stayed for three nights, I ate in all restaurants. I recommend Japanese breakfast. French breakfast is a bit less, only one pancake is really not used to it. The buffet restaurant has to wait for a long time and it is average. I had a steak restaurant and Japanese cuisine for dinner. They both felt okay and the price was acceptable. The taste was good and I was full.
Spa massage requires reservations, and there is a lot of communication during the inquiry and massage process. It is a bit difficult for me who don't speak the language. The appointment was 7 o'clock, but I didn't know until I arrived. In fact, it was 8 o'clock. One hour in advance, I was arranged to take a bath and steam sauna in the spa. If you are in a hurry, you can do it. Remember to ask the time. The technique is nothing to say. The 120-minute signature is about 2500rmb. Compared with a certain Gli in Shanghai, which costs more than 5,000, it feels worth it. It is recommended to experience it if you have a budget.
The lady at the diving center is very patient and gentle. I participated in snorkeling around the hotel, and there are also many corals and fish. I also saw clownfish. Snorkeling clothes and equipment are provided, so you can go directly. The service is still very professional, and there is no obvious difference in the treatment of Chinese people. The hotel as a whole has few foreigners in the off-season, but more than 80% of the guests staying in the hotel on weekends feel like they have come to the island for a weekend vacation.
