That is Qianjiang Xiaonanhai. I remember when I was a kid, this place was famous for being able to float on the lake. Later, it stopped commercial projects such as cruises due to environmental factors in the water source, until the number of tourists dropped sharply. With the closure of Xiaonanhai, Tujia Thirteen Village began to be built near the geopark, and has gradually become the "new darling" of the surrounding rural tourism in recent years. After the trip, we felt that the houses in the village were very traditional, the scenery was very beautiful, the forest was also very beautiful, and it was a good place for family leisure travel.
Back in the Xiaonhai Scenic Area, although you can't visit by boat now, as a geopark, its landscape is still striking. Xiaonanhai is a landslide lake formed after an earthquake in the Qing Dynasty. There are huge rocks growing on the lake. There are many islands in the lake. These specially shaped rocks and lakes merge into one landscape, and here are two places to fully appreciate the view.
The first is an aerial shot, where you can see a panoramic view of each island in the lake from different angles, or you can also look down on the lake from the air - you only feel the color is sky blue, which is completely different from a horizontal view. The second is to walk along the lake boardwalk, enter the rock beach, in-depth understanding of the landslide lake. In the earthquake that year, some of the broken rocks were large and piled up, indicating that the earthquake was very strong.
