Seongsan Ilchulbong is a huge rock mountain formed by an underwater volcanic eruption 100,000 years ago. It is a representative attraction of Jeju Island and one of the world heritage sites designated by the United Nations. The beautiful sunrise viewed from the top of the peak is also known as one of the ten most beautiful views of Jeju Island. You don't need to buy a ticket. Turn left after the ticket office and go down the road on the left hand side. You can see this beautiful scenery. It is highly recommended that you arrive at 7-8 in the morning to watch the sunrise. It is really beautiful.
