Japanese hotels are notoriously expensive and small, but this hotel where I stayed for 5 days in Tokyo was cheap, clean, large, had hot springs, lounges, and open-air balconies. Opposite the Tokyo National Stadium (the main venue for the Olympic Games), the transportation was also convenient and everything was close!
Check-in experience:
Hotel name: Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier
Transportation: Subway (National Stadium Station)
Breakfast provided: No
Check-in time: 15:00
Check-out time: 11:00
Check-in experience:
Room: The decoration is good, which is the style that most people prefer. It is more than 20 square meters, which is relatively large in Japanese hotels. It also has an open-air balcony, two single sofas, a coffee table, and a refrigerator (with free water)
WIFI: Covers the entire hotel, and the speed is ok
Bathtub: Yes
Elevator: 3, you need to swipe the door card to enter
Sound insulation: Sound insulation is OK
Cleanliness: It is quite tidy, and I am very surprised that they change the quilt, quilt cover, pillow, towel, and bathrobe every day. It is really very clean
Hot spring bath: On the 2nd floor, men and women are separated. People with tattoos cannot enter (but you can ask the front desk to cover the tattoo). This hot spring pool is quite large, but I personally think it is not as good as the one in Duomeiying. There are also vending machines on the 2nd floor, with drinks, water, instant noodles, snacks, biscuits, etc.
Surroundings: National Stadium, Jingu Gaien, convenient transportation, close to Shinjuku and Shibuya.
Summary: Very cost-effective!!! Convenient transportation!!! The room is very clean!!
