Many tourists overlook Krabi Town, and usually take a bus from Krabi Airport directly to Ao Nang Beach. Apart from going to the Krabi Night Market on weekends, few people know that there are many fun places in Krabi even during the day, such as the Emerald Pool, the Tiger Temple with 1,237 steps, and the Hang Nak Hill Park's hanging rocks, where you can hike and show off at the same time.



Even fewer people know about Krabi nightlife. Not many people know that Krabi nightlife is actually much more fun than Ao Nang! I'm not kidding you. Ao Nang is a completely tourist area, with a bar area called RCA, and another one called Center Point, which is very close to Ao Nang Beach. But apart from the ordinary beer bar, a few Go Go bars on the second floor, and the ladyboy show on the third floor, there is really nothing else. Although there are many massage parlors in Ao Nang, it is difficult to find even a plane parlor, let alone a bubble bath.

Krabi Town is completely different! If you are visiting the riverside tourist area of ​​Krabi Town for the first time, you may be disappointed. There are only some ordinary bars, massage parlors and walking streets. If this is your impression of Krabi Town, it's not surprising. Many people don't know that the real Krabi nightlife is far away from the riverside tourist area.



To be frank, Krabi's nightlife is mainly concentrated in Maharaj Road, north of Krabi Town. Here you can find many karaoke bars, each with many young hot girls. Don't worry! The karaoke here is different from that in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and it won't overcharge you. The karaoke bars in Krabi are like beer bars in Pattaya, which mainly serve locals. I will explain it in detail later. In addition to karaoke, there are three great nightclubs here, where some of Krabi's local beauties come to party. There is also a bubble bath shop here. I will start with the riverside scenic area where tourists first go, and then talk about the main nightlife area in Krabi on Maharaj Road.

The bar area along the Krabi River is mainly concentrated around Chao Fah Lane, near Thanon Isarah and Thanon Utarakit. Don't worry about not finding it, just look at the map below, everything is marked. There are some ordinary bars and massage parlors here, which means that both boys and girls can go there (unlike the karaoke bars on Maharaj Road, which are only for boys).



The two most lively bars along the Krabi River are Cozy Bar and Chilling Bar. They are mainly backpackers and hippies, and foreigners with dreadlocks. The price of a small bottle of beer is quite cheap, 80 baht, and a cocktail is only 120 baht. If your goal is to get a beautiful woman, then you can have a drink and leave, just go to Maharaj Road.



On Maharaj Road, north of Krabi Town, you will see the real nightlife. Although this place is mostly visited by locals, as a foreigner, you are also very welcome. Why don't many foreigners come here? The reason is simple, they don't know! So they just spend their time by the boring Krabi River! Another reason is that the transportation is not convenient. It is too far to walk there, and there are no motorcycles to take you there. If you rent two motorcycles by yourself, it will only take 10 minutes, but if you walk, it will probably take 1 hour.



You can tell from the photos that there are some very nice beauties in the bars here. Although they are officially called karaoke bars, they are very similar to bars. Some bars don't even have karaoke equipment, and are similar to go go bars. You can ask a girl to drink with you and then have fun together. Some bars even skip this process and directly ask the manager to take the beauty you like away.



A large bottle of beer in a karaoke bar is 100 baht, and calling a girl is 200 baht. She will take a cup and drink your beer instead of ordering a lady drink. ST 2000 baht, average price.



In the same area of ​​Maharaj Road, there are three nightclubs. Godang 8 (8) is a typical Thai nightclub with many small round tables. People gather around the tables, sharing a bottle of whiskey and listening to live music. The most attractive thing is that all the beauties in Krabi town are gathered here. As long as you are willing, basically they will be happy to have a drink with you. Of course, you need to buy them a small cocktail for 120 baht. The beauties here have to work until 2 am, and no one cares what you want to do after that.



The other two nightclubs are Number One, just opposite Godang 8, which has live music, and Khwuan Fang, which has a large Isaan-style music hall and Thai folk music. Prices are basically 120 baht for a large beer, 800 baht for a bottle of whiskey, and 1,500 baht for a bottle of Red Fang.



There are many massage parlours in Krabi town, but the problem is that many of them are ordinary massage parlours, offering foot massage, Thai massage and oil massage, and the masseurs are also wearing traditional massage clothes. However, there are two massage parlours in Seebaramee Alley 1. When you pass by, the girls inside will shout "Hello welcome, massage! Handsome man!" They provide HJ. Price: Thai massage 200-300 baht, oil massage 300-400 baht (1 hour), HJ 500 baht extra (pink pins).



It is located in the north of Phuket Town, after Khwuan Fang nightclub. It is called Lee Lao Dee. There is also a Thai bath shop with the same name in Hua Hin. Although it is small, there are 7-8 nice girls. The full package is 2000 baht.



Krabi Night Market is the largest night market in southern Thailand. When night falls, many tourists come from Ao Nang by songthaew, and Krabi Night Market becomes unusually noisy! There are all kinds of fruits, so come hungry! There are usually performances, so you can find a table near the stage to sit down and eat while watching.



Krabi Weekend Night Market is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night from 5pm to 11pm. If you are not visiting on weekends, there is also a riverside night market open every day and a night market on Vicar Road that is mainly visited by locals.
