We arrived in Manila at 6 o'clock in the morning. After arriving, we went to the first floor to exchange pesos. According to the guide, everyone uses U.S. dollars to exchange, so you can check more comparisons. Many of them were not open when we went there, and the exchange rate was 52 US dollars to pesos. Some were open at 52.2. When we returned to the airport, the exchange rate was 52.12.
I heard that taking taxis in Manila is very confusing, and yellow taxis are more secure. We directly applied for the international driving license IAA through China International Company IAA8008. Just arrange to rent a car and pick it up directly at the place. We didn’t have to drive from Resorts World to Intramuros and it cost almost the same.
The most worthwhile thing to do in the royal city is St. Augustine’s Cathedral, but please note that 11:30-13:00 is the staff’s luch time, so no one is allowed to enter. We happened to miss it at 11:35 when we went, so we didn’t go. There are also Manila Cathedral and Santiago Castle worth visiting.
Our itinerary to Apo Island is a one-day round Trip, and we have booked a deep dive. Apo is really, really small. The only advantage is that you can see turtles. The water is very muddy and we regret diving here. Lunch is almost always green vegetables, roasted chicken, boiled shrimp, boiled conch, scrambled eggs, etc. The boiled conch is especially fresh and delicious! It has a salty taste, I like it very much. Generally, the time spent on Apo Island is about three hours, but it takes almost a day to go back and forth. It does take a lot of time on the road.
Xidao has a southern loop and a northern loop. We played most of the southern and northern loops and reached most of the northern loop. When we were circling, the main road was blocked, and the northern part was not as beautiful as the southern part. It is recommended to visit Xidao for two days, it is so beautiful.
There is sea breeze at all times. Go to the beach early the next morning. The tide rises in the evening and recedes in the morning. You can find many starfish in the shallow waters. There are a lot of sea urchins, which can be eaten directly. They are not fishy at all and have a salty taste. They are still delicious without dipping sauce.
