Petani Island, a subsidiary of Bali, offers motorcycle detours for travel and sea diving

You must Travel to Pedan Island by yourself. It is really fun. If you are not a diving enthusiast, you can travel around the whole island in 2-3 days. Buy a boat ticket from Bali by yourself. The normal ticket price is 7 US dollars per person, but there are many second-hand ticket sellers at the pier, who will ask for a very high price. You can bargain with them. Also, don't trust the driver called by the taxi app. When you chat with you, they will recommend those homestays for one-day Tours, and the quotes are ridiculously expensive. We personally experienced that you can't play everything in a one-day tour. There is definitely not enough time. There is really no need to rush.

The island is relatively primitive and the accommodation conditions are average. You can try to choose hotels and homestays close to the pier. Various apps have them, which are more cost-effective than booking on the spot. They really bargain. It is best to choose a hotel with a pier pick-up. The transportation on the island mainly relies on riding a motorcycle or taking a taxi/chartering a car. We chartered a car for 1 day and rode a motorcycle for 2 days. The motorcycle was rented at the hotel where we stayed, 7 US dollars/day, which is a little more expensive than renting at the pier.

If you want to go down to the beach, it is recommended to rent a car, because it is very steep and tiring to go down to any beach, but it is worth it. The beach is really beautiful, riding a motorcycle is very free, and it won't be too sunny. The road on the island is very narrow, with trees on both sides, most of which are shaded by trees. It is very comfortable to blow the wind, and it is not as bumpy as riding a car. However, it is best to ride a motorcycle because there are many turns on the road and there are basically no street lights at night. Looking up on the way back from the scenic spot at night, the sky is full of stars, which is very beautiful.

We had breakfast at the hotel where we stayed, which was not delicious. We can go to the pier for dinner. There are many snack bars, coffee shops, and small bands. The atmosphere is very good. The big supermarket near the pier is the cheapest, and milk, coconut water, etc. are all available. Anyway, the drinks in the hotel we stayed in are very expensive. In short, it is quite comfortable to stay on the island to visit the scenic spots. Many Europeans and Americans will set off on motorcycles very early. No one will charge for going to the scenic spots before 8 o'clock in the morning, and then there will be few cars on the road. Traffic jams will start after 10 o'clock.

Pedani Island is an island of visual enjoyment. There are many Europeans and Americans living on the island. There is a charge for taking pictures in the swing/tree house, which lasts for a few minutes per person, but the scenery is great and the photos taken are beautiful.
