The temperature and environment throughout Southeast Asia are similar, and Hanoi is no exception. Cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, and small black mosquitoes are all familiar, but "hidden wing insects" are relatively rare in my hometown. This type of insect has a toxic body fluid in its body, and it is said that any skin it crawls over will leave traces, scars that will not fade for a long time, and in severe cases, allergies, inflammation, and so on. When I first went to the rental area, I carefully read the "Vietnam Survival Guide" left by my former Chinese roommate, and she also reminded me of this (and thoughtfully posted insect specimens next to it!). The rented house is on the 11th floor, and the air is not good. In order to prevent insects, I never open the windows. Even the gaps between the windows are stuffed with toilet paper and covered with transparent tape!
