When we Traveled to Jeju Island, South Korea, we went shopping at Dongmen Market and Chilsung-ro Pedestrian Street at night. It was around 7pm when we arrived at Dongmen Market. There were many people gathered at each entrance, and it was very lively. Picture 1 is Gate 8 of Dongdaemun. There are many entrances to Dongdaemun Market, and almost every entrance is a shop selling orange souvenirs. Gate 8 is a more crowded entrance. It is a snack street with many Korean Oppas barbecuing and dancing. However, the crowd was very crowded. We almost moved slowly with the crowd. There were many people queuing in front of each stall.
We bought a portion of roasted pork belly (Picture 3). The meat was relatively old and the meat was cut very large. It didn't feel particularly flavorful. It is not recommended to buy it. After shopping for an hour and a half, we went out because the things in each door were similar. There is an ice bread from Abebe Bakery at Gate 12 of the market (Picture 4). We were very lucky that day. There were still so many breads at 8:44 pm. We didn't have to queue up and bought them directly in the store. We bought peanut and matcha flavors. I personally prefer matcha flavor because it tastes fried. My husband also praised the peanut flavor.
Picture 5 is Qixing Road Pedestrian Street. Opposite Gate 3 of Dongmen Market is Qixing Road. The street is full of sports goods, and almost all of them are stores selling shoes. Friends who want to buy sports brands can come and have a look.
