There is a "magic rainforest" near Bali! In Indonesia's Djawatan Forest Park, the huge "hairy" monkey pod trees make people feel like they have come to ancient Earth. This photo was taken around 9 am, when the sun was already high, ensuring that there was plenty of sunlight to embellish the forest. The light and dark levels in the woods were very rich under the backlight. To shoot this kind of forest path, you need to use a telephoto to create a sense of compression. It also took some time to wait for different people to pass by the path, and finally captured the moment when this Indonesian old man pushing a bicycle passed by.
This park is actually very small and can be visited in just over ten minutes on foot. It is suitable for a stop by. It is about a two-hour drive from Ijen Volcano and Bali Ferry Terminal. It can be added to the classic itinerary of Surabaya-Bromo Volcano-Sewu Waterfall-Ijen Volcano-Djawatan Forest Park-Bali.
