Besides girls and sex, 👔what else can you do when traveling to Angeles City?

Let's be honest: the main reason you came to Angeles is to have sex with young Filipino ladies. But when you wake up on the third or fourth morning and don't want to drink beer right after brunch like you did when you first arrived because you're excited about everything (or just "hungry and thirsty"), then you ask yourself: what am I going to do this afternoon?

In other words: is there anything fun to do in Angeles during the day besides drinking, girls and sex? If you don't want to go to a bar before sunset, then the first thing that comes to your mind is probably to get a massage. You can imagine how the massage will turn out: the masseuse on Teodoro Street moves your vibrator closer and closer between your legs, and finally rubs your penis up and down to give you your first orgasm of the day at 3 pm.

Yes, it's fun and definitely not a waste of time, but you might be like me and want to explore another side of Angeles. No girls, no sex, no happy ending. And since I couldn't find any reliable information online about what to do in Angeles during the day, I decided to go out and explore it myself.

I walked along Fields Avenue and didn't see anything nice or interesting for the first 500 meters or so, except for traffic, hotels and girl bars, where the ladies from the day shift shouted at me, "Hello, sir! Come in! I meant into the bar! Not some pretty girl's body, hahaha!"




I also found a motorcycle rental shop. You can rent a motorcycle for 400-500 pesos per 24 hours, but honestly, there aren't many fun places to ride except the mountains outside of town and the cockfighting arena.



Then I noticed that the crowd seemed to be heading in a specific direction. I followed them for two minutes and I knew where they were going: SM City Clark. This is the largest mall in Angeles and a favorite haunt of Filipinos during the day and especially on weekends, where they spend time with family and friends.



It is definitely worth a visit, especially if you are dating a Filipino girl, or if you are alone, you can go there to try to meet "normal" girls who are not in it for money like all the prostitutes on the walking street. It is a nice activity, and it is also fun to just walk around or sit in a Starbucks, drink coffee, and watch people. I took a video in this mall, which you can find at the end of the article.

To be honest, I had already finished my coffee that day, so I just took a few photos and videos, and 20 minutes later, I left the mall again and walked back to Fields Avenue. There is a pedestrian bridge at the east entrance of the mall, crossing the main road to the other side of the street, where there is a huge jeepney parking lot. Another 100 meters, I was back on Fields Avenue. I continued along Fields Avenue until the end, and the most interesting sight was a church (Iglesia Ni Cristo). To be honest, it looked like a "chartered" cathedral, almost identical to the one on Mango Avenue in downtown Cebu.



I walked to the end of the 2km long Fields Ave (it goes on forever but from there it's called Don Juico Ave and there's absolutely nothing interesting there) and turned left at the gas station on the corner. Then I turned left again and walked down Malabanas Road which runs parallel to Fields Ave. I thought I would find at least a few bars but the only ones I passed were a (traditional) massage parlor, a restaurant where a foreigner was having lunch with two Filipino ladies and a quick stop called Hotel Gogo.



And that's really all there is to explore. Sure, you can take a tricycle to downtown Angeles (about 4 km from the walking street for about 150 pesos), but there's not much to see there either. Long story short: this city is really (mostly) about sex. That's what you're here for, maybe for shopping and food. So I just walked back to the walking street and had lunch at Envy, the best restaurant in town.

I think you will agree with me that Filipino food is terrible and it is not easy to find decent western food. However, Envy Restaurant at the west entrance of the walking street is an exception, the food there is very delicious. I eat 80% of my meals there every time I go to Angeles. Their breakfast is also great. Kokomo is also a good place to eat and hang out.
