There are two hills 4 kilometers away from Hua Hin city: Khao Takiab and Khao Krailat. Because these two hills stand side by side and look like a pair of chopsticks, they are called Chopstick Hill by the locals. Chopstick Hill is located next to Hua Hin Beach. Walking from the beach to Chopstick Hill, you can first see a magnificent and solemn Buddha statue standing on the towering rock wall at the foot of the mountain. There is a temple with the same name as the mountain on the mountain. In addition to many Buddha statues and Buddhist paintings erected around the temple, there are also 10-meter-high statues of Guanyin Bodhisattva and the portrait of King Rama V of Thailand. Standing on the mountain, you can overlook Hua Hin Beach and enjoy the cool sea breeze on your face.
You can take a tuk-tuk from Hua Hin city to get there. It takes about 20 minutes one way and costs about 250 baht. Tickets are free and open all day. It is estimated to take 2-3 hours to play.
