Covering over 700 square kilometers, Khao Sok National Park is the oldest rainforest in Thailand and has the most beautiful and hidden mountain lake in the country. If you are adventurous, love nature, and are looking for a niche Travel destination to explore, you will definitely love this remnant of rainforest that is older and more diverse than the Amazon rainforest.

The entire park is traversed from north to south by limestone mountains, with the highest point reaching 950 meters. Affected by the monsoon, this is one of the wettest areas in Thailand. Heavy rainfall and leaf fall have caused the limestone to erode, forming the important karst landforms seen today. Towering limestone cliffs, dense rainforest, and of course emerald lakes, as well as a large number of wild mammals, amphibians, birds and insects, create a unique destination.

Elephants are also the natural habitat of many amazing animals, including more than 25 species of bats, 311 species of birds, more than 45 species of mammals and endless reptiles. Crossing the dense rainforest, you may encounter native Asian elephants and discover many rainforest animals you have never seen before.

After walking through the jungle, you will see a quiet lake in front of you - Cheow Larn Lake. Boating on the lake is like being in a fairyland, with mountains bathing in the water. The iconic attraction "Three-brother Pillar" is magnificent and towering, reaching into the sky. Sit on the railing of the pavilion in the middle of the lake, listen to the birds singing, and watch the branches swaying in the wind.
