Koh Samui is not only about beaches, but also beautiful islands. Koh Tao, a paradise for diving enthusiasts, is the best diving spot in the Gulf of Siam, Thailand, with rich marine landscapes and a large number of coral reefs, clear water and excellent diving environment. Koh Nang Yuan is a very small island near Koh Tao, and the boat ride between them takes about 15 minutes. Koh Nang Yuan consists of three small islands, connected by a unique long and narrow beach, forming a natural "human" shaped beach. Koh Tao is a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts and the best snorkeling spot on Koh Samui.

Phuket-Koh Samui is not only a beach, but also a beautiful island, Paradise for diving enthusiasts

Personally, I think you must go to Koh Nang Yuan if you go to Koh Samui! Because this so-called "the most beautiful mini island in the world" is really beautiful. The whole island is like a specially designed theme park, diving, mountaineering, swimming, sunbathing, wine and coffee... It is enough to go to the island for 2 hours, and it is enough to sign up for a one-day Tour of Koh Tao and Nang Yuan. The Japanese Garden on Koh Nang Yuan is a very high-quality snorkeling area, with clear water and a large number of sea cucumbers lying on the bottom of the water. Snorkeling in the direction of the open sea, you can see coral groups and large and small fish of various colors and shapes, and sea urchins are hidden by the rocks.

[Opening hours] Nangyuan Island is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The island fee is 100 baht. If you book a hotel in Nangyuan Island, you don’t need to pay the island fee.

[Tips]

1. Snorkeling, you must bring the three snorkeling treasures, because the sand is very coarse and the corals are very painful.

2. It is best to buy drinks and snacks in advance when going to Koh Tao or Nangyuan Island, because the prices on the island are twice as high as those in Samui.

3. Nangyuan Island is a private island. For environmental protection, it is forbidden to bring plastic bottles to the island. You can leave drinks and food on the boat.

4. Don’t wear makeup when snorkeling. Last but not least, apply thick sunscreen!

5. It takes a long time to take a boat to Koh Tao and Nangyuan Island. Remember to take motion sickness medicine!

6. The beach chairs on Nangyuan Island are 100 baht each. Remember to keep the receipt. You can sit for a while, go into the sea for a while, and then come back to sit on another chair. You won’t be charged again if you show the receipt.

Angthong Islands

A beautiful marine park where you can see wild animals such as gibbons. Angthong Marine National Park is a wildlife sanctuary consisting of 42 small islands. It is located in the west of Koh Samui and is the second national marine park approved by Thailand. The water quality in this area is beautiful and the density of marine fish is high. You can also see the scene of fish swimming in the clear water on the boat. In addition to snorkeling and other water activities, the park also has many natural caves, tranquil white sand beaches, coral reefs and various strange rocks. The charming scenery of Angthong National Marine Park lies in the beautiful scenery of the park. The vast sea and limestone hills form a beautiful landscape painting. The nearby waters are clean and transparent and rich in marine life. The islands are covered with coral reefs, unique blue saltwater lakes and limestone caves.

Koh Phangan

One of the three largest parties in the world, pool party, beach party, bonfire party. Koh Phangan is one of the three largest "wild party" destinations in the world. Koh Phangan is located in the north of Koh Samui, an hour's boat ride away. There is no airport on the island, the beach is flat, and there are no sophisticated and efficient commercial facilities. However, on the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar every month, tens of thousands of tourists will flock to the island from the surrounding areas to join the carnival crowd of the Full Moon Party, dancing, drinking, having fun, and hunting for beauties all night long, turning this small island on the edge into a pilgrimage site for party animals around the world. The tradition of the Full Moon Party is to cover your body with fluorescent paint and dance and revel under the full moon.

In the movie "Hormones", Sora Aoi met a Thai boy when she took a train from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui, and they went to the Full Moon Party together! The fluorescent beach, gorgeous flames, beer all over the sky, and the hugging scene at the Full Moon Party make people completely sink! For those who love electronic music and hot dance, there are three pilgrimage sites that must be visited in a lifetime: Ibiza in Spain, Goa in India, and Koh Phangan in Thailand.

During the full moon party, hotels on the island are extremely tight, so you must plan your Trip in advance, and hotel reservations are also hard to find. The full moon party has been held here for 20 years, and now it has developed into a black moon party and a crescent moon party. With the rising and setting of the moon and the ebb and flow of the tide, a series of carnivals belonging to youth are staged here.
