Holy Rosary Parish Church, this is a church from the Spanish colonial era, but I still can't forget how beautiful and adventurous it was when I rode there. This area is a little far to ride there, and the road is very rural. I still feel very rural and unforgettable. I was a little scared at the time.
Looking at the GOOGLE map guide, I have never seen such a place in Manila. I thought I was going the wrong way. When I passed the bridge, I saw many dilapidated houses under the old bridge. I didn't dare to stop the car to take pictures or look around, because the poverty scared me. The houses were very dilapidated and vulnerable. The exposed clothes were all hung outside. I always wondered what to do with these houses when it rained heavily. You can see that the people here live a harder life, and the exhaust of the cars here is very smelly and polluted.
It was a really torturous Journey. Maybe I don't like the air pollution. The air is very bad, very bad, all the pollution from jeepneys and tricycles, and the air is worse than that in Manila. But in fact, the people here are very simple. People in the coastal and rural areas are much friendlier. There are some fruit stalls along the road, but I dare not take out my phone to take pictures, for fear of being robbed...
I got off the bus and bought a bag of oranges to eat. Many people on the road looked at me because of my skin color and clothes as a Tourist. I was actually a little scared, but the fruits outside attracted me, including oranges. I got off the bus and asked the price. It was only 50P for a lot of oranges, at least 10 or more. I found that the oranges here are very delicious, sweet and juicy. I miss the oranges there now, because the oranges I bought in SM later were not as delicious and juicy as those here. In order to reach the Angel City Church area, there is also a beautiful church here.
You can see coffee shops and KITTY coffee nearby on foot. It's a great place to spend an afternoon in this area. The laid-back and beautiful City of Angeles is a very comfortable place to walk. Meeting the old lady holding the cross in the church is not a ghost story. Don't see the old lady thinking wrongly when we get off the car to view the church.
We were walking outside, because I always resisted people here talking to us, because we looked too easy to "scam". Plus we looked like tourists, so I was very careful. This story is that when the old lady saw us, she took a black cross and put it on my hand, but because I am not a Catholic or Christian, I am particularly disgusted to wear these, plus I have my own beliefs, and I also have a Thai Buddha amulet on my hand, so I pushed her hands away at that time.
Although I always thought he was going to give me the cross, I really rejected him because of different beliefs, so my friend also put a cross on his hand. My friend thought it looked good and wore it.
Then the old lady said: Give me 20P and I will be lucky. We thought it was quite cheap, so we gave him 20P.
Later, after a while, my friend said that he also felt that when he wore this bracelet, he began to feel lucky. Although I don't know if he is really lucky or just lucky, maybe it really tests the power of the bracelet. He now wears the 20P every day. "But I give you a lucky bracelet" Sometimes when Traveling abroad, "I meet different or weird people", I always meet all kinds of good and bad people, but we all believe that people have the good side.
While I rejected his hand, I thought: Is he trying to sell me again? I always have this kind of negative fear and resistance. I am more protective, but many people are like this. This fear of being cheated is normal here, but from a friend's perspective, he got the cross. |
