Udara Bali Retreat, immersive experience of Indonesian Eat, Pray, yoga retreat and Love

I gave myself a special gift on my 29th birthday week, unlocking the Bali yoga retreat I always wanted to try. I Googled many places before going, and finally chose Udara Resort, which is very popular on Xiaohongshu and IG, as my first stop in Bali.

?️Three meals
The retreat package will include three meals. There is a fixed menu and you can order your own meals. Basically, they are white people's meals suitable for Asian stomachs. They are healthy and delicious, and I enjoy every meal without any repetition.

??Courses
There are about 10 classes to choose from every day from 7:00 to 18:00. Udara is more special in areal yoga. There are five or six classes of different difficulty levels every day. You can also choose sunset aerial yoga in the evening. As a person who has not practiced aerial yoga for a year and is afraid of heights, I found the areal relaxation that suits me here (combined with sound healing, it is said to be Bali Limited). I took 14 classes in three days. Vinyasa (similar to flow yoga) is suitable for daily yoga. Water yoga is more interesting. The basic difficulty is much simpler than the courses in Shanghai. The teachers will also tell you "no need force you to do any pose, all whatever you can do is yoga."

??‍♀️Daily Spa
The Retreat Package also includes a 60-minute spa every day. I went to the spa as my first stop on the first day of arrival after a red-eye flight. The signature balinese massage made me fall asleep. In the next few days, I also tried lulur, coffee scrub, and boreh body. Mask, these body scrub spas are all very good. I personally like the last one that feels like it has ginger ingredients, which can make the body feel hot and burning.

?️Accommodation
Before departure, I saw various notes on Xiaohongshu about the course, but few people mentioned accommodation. I was quite worried. I was assigned to a room next to the aerial yoga studio. When I opened the curtains in the morning, I saw rows of colorful hammocks and the sea. I met the funder on the first night and he told me that this was the best room here (I was skeptical. If there is a next time, I will definitely ask for a room by the pool). The toilet and bathroom are outdoors (very typical Bali). It is worth praising that the retreat is charged according to the number of nights stayed, but you can still enjoy day time meals/courses/spa service on the arrival day and the departure day.
