Travel preparation

I have been working in Macau for nearly two years. I have been to many places with Macau, eaten the most authentic local food, visited popular attractions that Macau Tourists must visit, and stepped into some little-known streets and alleys. It is better to share happiness with others than to enjoy it alone, so I want to organize the Macau guide for everyone and share the most complete guide to eating, drinking and playing! Let all tourists come to Macau and make the Trip worthwhile, and never forget it

As for the shopping guide, it will be launched separately in the next article‼ ️Save 100 million for you Macau shopping guide‼ ️Look forward to it

Welcome to Macau🇲🇴

1. Visa
For Macau free travel, of course, a Hong Kong and Macau Pass and a visa are required. The detailed application procedures can be found on the entry and exit website of the public security.
2. Transportation
Domestic flight to Macau: Hotel fortune car, free!
Domestic flight to Guangzhou: Take the light rail from Guangzhou to Zhuhai Station and walk to Gongbei Port to cross the border. About 60-80 minutes, 70 yuan.
3. Domestic flight to Zhuhai: Take the Zhuhai Airport Bus to Gongbei Port, about 50 minutes, 20 yuan.
4. Hong Kong (Shenzhen) by boat to Macau: Tourists who are preparing to travel to Hong Kong and Macau can also travel by shipping, so I won’t write about it in detail here.
5. Transportation in Macau: After entering the Macau border, there will be many casino cars. You can choose the corresponding casino car according to the place you want to go. You can take the Lisboa car to go to the Ruins of St. Paul’s and the Senate Square. You can take the Emperor Hotel car to go to the New Yaohan.
If you don’t want to queue up, you can take a bus or a taxi. The stops are all near the exit. Be prepared to change money for the bus, the bus fare is 6 yuan. Well, the price has increased! Taxis are more expensive than in China. It costs about ¥50-60 from Guanzha to Lisboa, and ¥100 from Guanzha to Taipa.

Currency

Although AUD, HKD and RMB are all accepted in Macau, if you plan to eat, drink, play and shop in Macau, I still recommend that you change to Macau Pounds to save money, because some shops convert at a 1:1 exchange rate, so comrades who are careful with money should pay attention. If you go to Macau casinos, you can exchange some Hong Kong dollars to play a few games! It’s also okay to win some travel expenses and accommodation expenses.

Accommodation
Macau accommodation is generally expensive, most of which are 5-star hotels, which are connected to shopping malls and casinos. Generally avoid the off-season and weekends, and book in advance to get cheap rooms.

Selected near the Ruins of St. Paul’s: Sofitel at Ponte 16, Emperor Hotel, about 700 is ok.
Taipa: Parisian has the best value for money. Gambling and shopping are integrated, and you can enjoy the night view of the Eiffel Tower at night. The Studio City next door can also be recommended. Ordinary rooms can be obtained for 700

Premium enjoyment version: You can choose Wynn, Galaxy JW Marriott, Venetian
