Fall in love with this warm sea. Similan, which is only open for 180 days a year (10.15-5.15 of the following year), really lives up to everyone who comes. The water is crystal clear! I was lucky to see a small turtle while snorkeling, and there were colorful little fish swimming around. The corals were also very large and beautiful!
After going there, I realized that Similan is composed of 9 archipelagos, not just one island. You need to sail between islands, which is a physically demanding special forces Trip. We chose to go to four islands for an island hopping Tour. 2 snorkelings (Island No. 9 + Island No. 7) and 2 island hoppings (Island No. 8 + Island No. 4).
Let me tell you about the precautions
✔️ It takes 2 hours to get to the island, so be careful if you are seasick
✔️ Bring beach shoes, it is easy to scratch your feet with reefs
✔️ Snorkeling does not provide disposable mouthpieces, we bought them at the club for 120 baht
✔️ Be sure to bring a dry suit to wear when you come back! The sea breeze is very strong!
✔️ Bring a waterproof bag! Protect your clothes and cell phones
✔️Try not to bring valuables to the island
