I have been Traveling in Hua Hin, Thailand for 3 days. I have summarized some experiences to share. I believe someone will like them. Hua Hin can accommodate all uncertainties and unknowns. Everything here can be variable. You can choose to stay in the hotel for a day, or you can choose to go out and walk around, or find a massage shop. In short, no one will care about you, and everything you do here is acceptable.
1️⃣ Safety:
The most popular thing about safety in Southeast Asia and Thailand these days. Of course, safety in all places cannot be guaranteed 100%. The first important thing when you come out is to ensure the safety of yourself and your companions. This time, except for the restaurant, which was found directly locally, the air tickets, hotels, chartered cars, etc. were all booked on Taobao and Qunar.com. Don't be greedy for cheapness, compare prices, and the prices are not bad.
In Hua Hin, it can be seen that there are fewer Chinese people than in Phuket, Bangkok, and Pattaya. No wonder it is a "large white nursing home". I stayed here for three days and went out at night. Except for not going to very remote alleys, there were no other safety issues.
2️⃣ Accommodation;
The larger hotels here are Marriott and InterContinental. InterContinental has a unique location. The sea is the cleanest in Hua Hin. You can also go swimming. It is just a few minutes walk from Hua Hin Shopping Center. This time I stayed at #Hua Hin Putahracsa Resort. The hotel is divided into two parts by the road. The villa area is close to the sea, and the ordinary area has a large swimming pool. If you want to lie on the beach, you need to cross the road. The popular beach restaurant is also in the villa area, which is not very convenient. In general, it is not good enough. The price after tax is within 800. If it is higher, you can consider other options.
3️⃣ Food:
The town is not big. Basically, there are restaurants within a ten-minute walk from any hotel. Most of them are Western, Thai and Japanese food. Of course, there are also many 711. The most concentrated is the night market. There are three night markets in Hua Hin. The first is the "Night Market" open every day (ordinary night market, with food, drink and entertainment, many foreigners, massage and other places, basically you can bargain); the second is the "Tamarind Market" open on Tuesdays (all locals, the price is the cheapest, a bit like the domestic vegetable market haha); the third is the "Cicada Market" open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (art, I didn't make it this time, so I won't comment). You can directly search the names of these night markets in the navigation.
4️⃣ Shopping
There is nothing to buy. The biggest one is the Hua Hin Shopping Center, which is just a normal food and drink store. The fourth floor is full of Japanese, Korean and Western restaurants. If you really can't find food, you can go shopping, but you don't need to make a special Trip. I especially recommend a small massage parlor, which should have been open for a while. I walked in casually and didn't expect to find a different world (Ruen Boran Thai Massage). Just search on the map. The price for 60 minutes is about 120 RMB. As a long-term massage enthusiast, I felt that the aunt's technique was very special as soon as she started, and it was just right without any pain or itching.
At the end of the article, you said that you couldn't think of a reason to recommend Hua Hin. It doesn't seem to be that outstanding, but it's not bad either. It's valuable because it's real and natural.
