This Trip is at the end of January 2025. I accidentally learned about Clark through a friend. China Eastern Airlines has direct flights to Shanghai. In order to avoid a large number of people, we chose Clark as the entry and exit city. Pinatubo is an active volcano located in Mabalacat City adjacent to Clark. The most serious eruption was in June 1991. Now some Tourism projects have been developed here, such as volcanic lake hiking. The hiking time is only three hours round trip, which is relatively easy overall.

There are four of us in our group. We booked a car in advance, and the driver helped us make an appointment with the scenic spot. Depart from Clark at 5:30 in the morning, and arrive at the scenic spot camp in an hour's drive. Pay a one-day tour fee of 2500P/person at the scenic spot camp (including off-road vehicles and drivers, hiking guides, a box lunch and a bottle of mineral water). In addition, you need to fill out a waiver. If you are older, you will be asked to measure your blood pressure and purchase an additional insurance, which seems to be 500P.

Before 7 o'clock, we set off in an off-road vehicle after getting ready. It took nearly an hour and a half to reach the starting point of the hike. You will be asked to get off the bus and rest for a while. Experienced guides will also take the initiative to help take photos. This section of the road into the mountain is extremely bumpy. An expert told us that girls must wear [sports bras]. They are absolutely genius! If it didn't rain the night before, the dust would be very heavy. It is recommended to wear a mask and take sun protection and dust prevention measures.

Hiking requires wading through the mountains. The guide will help you wherever you need it. You will reach the volcanic lake in an hour and a half. There will be some local children sitting on the roadside to welcome you. You can take pictures with them, but I hope everyone can be civilized and polite. You can prepare some snacks as gifts for them.

The volcanic lake is still quite beautiful, especially when there are blue sky and white clouds! Then it's time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and take pictures, and then it's lunch time (I personally think the box lunch tastes good hahahaha). After enough rest, we went down the mountain and went home.

The Philippines is known as the cheapest country in the world for shooting, so of course we have to experience it. The shooting range we went to opened not long ago, the environment is very good, and the boss is still Chinese. This shooting range is only four kilometers away from the airport, but it is located in Mabalacat, which is a bit remote and requires a taxi. Grab cannot be used to call a taxi across the city, even though these cities are so small and close! We called a taxi in the city and negotiated a price with the driver to take us there.

The rental of the venue and guns is a one-time charge, and the bullets are calculated by quantity, so it is more cost-effective with more people. We are two girls who have never had any experience. We rented a 6mm pistol as recommended by the boss and bought 50 rounds of bullets. The coach is also very good, very responsible and patient. We didn't buy many bullets, but two people couldn't shoot for long. If you strictly follow the coach's posture, it's still very tiring. After we each shot more than a dozen rounds, our hands were shaking and it was difficult to aim. Because we only enjoyed the pleasure of hitting, we didn't continue to buy bullets. Because we were going to the airport, the boss was very kind to send us to the airport. You can't get a taxi here, so please make an appointment with the driver to pick you up when you come.
