The sixth stop of our Trip to Okinawa, we came to the first of the eight famous shrines in Ryukyu - Naminoue Shrine. The atmosphere here is very peaceful, especially suitable for bringing the elderly and children to experience the original ecological Travel. Naminoue Shrine is one of the must-see attractions for many Tourists to Okinawa. The last time we came was four years ago, when Mina's sister was preparing for the college entrance examination. She came here to pray for a smooth exam. This year, my sister graduated successfully and came back with a bachelor's dress to fulfill her wish. I am really grateful for the blessing of the shrine.
Naminoue Shrine is located near Naha City and is built on a coral reef cliff overlooking the sea. Whenever the big waves surge, it seems to be above the waves from a distance, hence the name Naminoue Shrine. This is a famous shrine in Ryukyu, and the incense is very strong. Each of the amulets of Naminoue Shrine is very delicate and full of Okinawa's traditional style. Mina herself also drew a lucky number and asked for a school bag amulet, hoping that her studies will go well.
If you have enough time, you can also play at Naminoue Shrine Beach. The water here is crystal clear, blue and beautiful, perfect for taking photos. The photos are great when you jump with your back to the Naminoue Palace on the cliff!
