Enjoy the convenience of home at EVER 8 Serviced Apartment Hotel in Ewha Sinchon, Seoul

During the first few days of this cherry blossom viewing Trip, I stayed at Myeongdong Stay B Hotel and Myeongdong Aloft Hotel near the Myeongdong business district. Although the two hotels are not large, they are new and full of design, and I like them both. On the last night, I wanted to stay in a different business district, so I chose the Sinchon EVER 8 Apartment Hotel, which has good online reviews.

Hotel location
Shinchon Ever8 Serviced Residence is only 350 meters away from Exit 1 of Ewha Womans University Station on Subway Line 2, which is about a 5-minute walk. If you are carrying large luggage, it is recommended to take Exit 6 with an elevator.

The hotel is very close to Kongling One Chicken and NENE Fried Chicken, and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Shinchon business district.

Because it is an apartment-style hotel, there is a small kitchen in the room, which is equipped with a microwave, a washing machine and a dryer, a large double-door refrigerator, and pots and pans. It is very convenient to cook something, heat food or wash clothes.




The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the shower room, but you need to prepare your own toothbrush and toothpaste (most Korean hotels do not provide them for environmental reasons).



The hair dryer is wall-mounted, and towels of different sizes and mouthwash cups are placed in the closet.



The room is 28 square meters in size, but because of the room configuration, it doesn't feel that big. It's a bit difficult to open two large suitcases at the same time, and the bed must be moved to fit them.




Ever 8 Apartment Hotel opened in 2014. Many bloggers recommend it online because it is affordable and comfortable. However, the price we booked was about 3,300 yuan, which was more expensive than the Myeongdong Stay B Hotel and Myeongdong Aloft Hotel where we stayed a few days ago. In addition, we stayed at Ever 8 on the last night and returned to Taiwan the next day, so we didn’t need the kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine and other equipment at all.

Although I didn’t like this accommodation very much, Ever 8 Apartment Hotel was renovated in 2020, with a convenient location and complete facilities. If you plan to stay in Seoul for a long time and want to experience the comfort of home, Ever 8 Apartment Hotel is still an option worth considering.
