Let's say it's your second or third day in Manila and you've met a hot and attractive Filipina transsexual in one of the bars or on Pina Love, and now you want to invite her to your hotel room to "watch some TV". It's actually not that hard to meet ladyboys in the capital. There are hundreds of them in the bars or on the streets of the four red-light districts. They will all ask you to pay to take you to your hotel (maybe 1,500 pesos for a "short stay"). But the good thing about this is that it's relatively simple and straightforward - you arrange the price and you're off. However, there's always the risk of getting in trouble (theft, demands for more money) and you don't know where to find them the next day - because they're not hired by anyone.
If you meet Manila ladyboys on dating sites, you may have to pay more, but it's usually safer this way because they usually have regular jobs (some of them are students). Also, most of them are not prostitutes, which means they won't ask you to pay to "play with you" - they get as much aroused seeing a foreigner getting an erection as you do when you take off the clothes of these sexy creatures and get an erection when you see their hot bodies.
Armada Hotel Manila
Manila Ladyboy Hotel Whenever someone emails me and asks for my personal recommendation for a hotel in Manila, and I know they are considering sleeping with a ladyboy, then I always recommend the Armada Hotel to them. It is well located in the heart of the Malate district, which is one of Manila's red-light districts, but also has the popular Robinsons Mall, and is close to Rizal Park. Also, LA Café (Manila's most popular freelancer bar) is only a 10-15 minute walk away. The room rates for this 4-star hotel are surprisingly reasonable, starting at about $65 per night for a well-appointed superior room. Third, they are ladyboy-friendly. Important note: they allow unregistered guests to stay until 10 pm, after which you need to register her at the reception (showing her ID) and pay a 2,000 pesos room deposit, which will be refunded when she leaves.
Picasso Boutique Serviced Apartments
Best Ladyboy Hotel in Manila This is probably the best ladyboy hotel in Manila, but with room rates around $100 per night, it is one of the more expensive hotels you can choose. Picasso Boutique Serviced Apartments is located in a prime location in the heart of Makati (the safest and most developed area in Manila), exactly 1 km from P Burgos Street (the favorite street for Tourists with countless bars, restaurants, girls and ladyboys) and 1.2 km from Greenbelt (the prettiest shopping mall in Manila). They are very friendly to guests, but their policy is that the room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people. So if you want to bring a guest, that's fine, but if you fantasize about having a threesome with two ladyboys, then you have to pay the joining fee of 1,250 pesos per night.
Swagman Hotel
Swagman Hotel, Manila If you are looking for a budget hotel with a nightly rate of around $35, then the Swagman Hotel might be a good choice. It is located in the northern part of Ermita, close to all the nightlife, Robinsons Mall, and is only 500 meters from Rizal Park, which is a good choice if you want to take a walk or relax in the evening. They also have a popular direct bus to Angeles that will take you directly to the hotel. Tourists from all parts of the city take this bus, so if you are staying at Swagman (and plan to visit Angeles), it couldn't be more convenient. Like all the other hotels on this list, they also welcome ladyboys and will not charge extra to your guests.
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila
Luxury hotels in Manila with ladyboys If you tell your ladyboy that you are staying at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, she will undoubtedly be very excited and may even lower the price, as this is one of the prettiest and most famous hotels in the capital. The view of Manila Bay is simply magnificent – both from the room and the beautiful and huge swimming pool. Sofitel is located right on Manila Bay, and yes, you can walk to the bars and nightclubs in Malate and Ermita. However, the distance is about 3 km (about 40-45 minutes walk), and you also have to cross the main road (Roxas Boulevard). In this case, I would rather recommend you to take a taxi, but keep in mind that traffic can be terrible in this area. That's the only reason I didn't put Sofitel higher on this list – while it is indeed a great place to stay in terms of facilities and comfort, it is quite tiring to Travel to the nightlife hotspots.
Victoria Court Malate
Victoria Court Manila 2I recently stayed at the infamous Victoria Court Malate for the first time and it was very nice. Although the mattress could be a little softer, everything else was great: each room has a different theme - Oriental, Casino Royale, Dubai or Disney for example. Since this is a popular short-term hotel (or motel as Filipinos call it), each room has a private garage and you'll see a lot of Filipino men and their ladies driving in. Privacy and discretion are at their best. They have several branches throughout Manila, so make sure to book the one in Malate - it's a 10-minute walk to the bar district, 15 minutes to Robinsons and 20 minutes to the Ermita red-light district. |
