Beautiful dinner at The Ukai Taipei restaurant, Michelin Teppanyaki with night view in the city center

I finally made it to Taipei this time, so of course I have to enjoy a good meal! I made a reservation at the teppanyaki restaurant THE UKAI TAIPEI one month in advance. When we entered at 7:30 pm, the entire restaurant was almost full, but the space was well planned and we were not disturbed by the tables next to us when chatting, which was really comfortable.

Since Teppanyaki has a wide variety of dishes, we chose to pair them with wine. Basically, all the food is pretty good, well prepared and well presented. The chef was also very attentive and paid attention to the speed of our meal. My favorite dish is the mushroom soup, which is really delicious. Drinking it makes people feel good, as if they are drinking the taste of happiness!

Overall, enjoying teppanyaki in Taiwan is really worth the money, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is super thoughtful. It was a stormy day outside, but as soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we were served hot tea, which warmed our hearts and stomachs. However, one small regret is that the desserts are not that good. There seemed to be three options to choose from. My friend and I each picked one, but the flavors were all disappointing. It was really confusing and a small letdown!
