The Hyatt Regency Jakarta Kraton is a very mysterious hotel. No check-in sharing can be found on the entire Internet. It is inexplicably noble. You should know that the highly sought-after Park Hyatt Jakarta is positioned as C4 in the Hyatt Group system, while this newly launched Hyatt Collection is directly listed as C5. The hotel is in an extremely advantageous location, located in the most prosperous commercial complex in the center of Jakarta. There are two skyscrapers, the annex belongs to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, and the main building is this Hyatt Collection. It is said that the main building is currently the tallest building in Indonesia and the Southern Hemisphere.

It conforms to the tonality of a luxury hotel, with a hidden entrance. You need to bypass the bustling streets to the alley to arrive. The main entrance is located at the back of the main building, and the courtyard of the tall gate is deep. There is a full sense of ceremony when checking in, and there are activities similar to offering Hada, and wearing silk scarves, which are local specialties of Indonesia. The reason why it can suppress Park Hyatt is that it provides three meals a day for all guests staying in the club on the seventh floor of the hotel. Like the all-inclusive package at Club Med, the quality of the products is comparable to that of the executive privileges at Ritz-Carlton. In addition to the three meals, there is a cocktail reception at night, and you can enjoy tea and snacks at any time during other periods.

All three meals are a combination of à la carte and buffet, with an irregular menu. Here are the specialties I tasted during the two days and one night: breakfast is chicken and jackfruit porridge and Benedict eggs with corn as the base. Lunch is tiger prawn squid ink pasta and beef burger. Dinner has lobster soup, silver cod and beef cheek. In short, it is very rich and diverse. With my appetite, I want to eat the entire menu, at least I have to stay for three to five days.

Although it has just joined the Hyatt Collection, it should be a rebranding of other hotels. It is not large in scale, with only about 10 rooms on each floor, and the basic room type has an area of ​​65 square meters. The courtesy given to global guests is to upgrade to a deluxe corner room with an area of ​​75 square meters, which is more than enough to make a suite. The bedroom and bathroom both have large transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, with a classic and elegant style. There are slight signs of wear and tear, but it does not affect its grandeur. Apart from the club that can be visited eight times a day, the hotel's public area only has a fitness center on the same floor and a lobby bar on the first floor. The swimming pool has to be borrowed from the Grand Hyatt next door, and it can be reached through the corridor on the sixth floor.

There are two shortcomings. The first is the common problem of almost all hotels in Jakarta, which is very noisy at night. This hotel is located in a bustling commercial district and close to the main road, and the noise is even louder, almost all night long. The second is the delay in handling. Arrived at 2:30, they said the room was not ready, and temporarily arranged to rest in other rooms. It was delayed until 5:30, and it was only done after urging.

Finally, the overall atmosphere is elegant and elegant, and you can eat and take it with you. It makes sense to hang it up to C5, which is definitely not a price assassin. But the overall quality of the Hyatt series in Jakarta is very high. If you have to choose one of the four, I personally prefer Park Hyatt.
