I'll record the Tioman Island that I've been longing to check in. For Tourists, this is a niche destination, but for diving enthusiasts, this is a must-visit destination. You can book a bus ticket from Singapore to Mersing, and then book a ferry ticket from Mersing to Tioman. There are two companies, Bluewater and Canferry. The latter has better boats and the price will be relatively more expensive. You can choose according to your needs.
Berjaya Resort Hotel is moderately priced. The rooms are a little old, but the cabin design is full of primitive atmosphere and surrounded by private beaches. Berjaya's own buffet is not delicious. Fortunately, there is a seafood restaurant opened by Chinese at the door. The price is not bad, which suits our Chinese taste.
The Travel agency in the lobby of Berjaya Hotel has snorkeling packages to choose from. The price is not very expensive. I chose more than 130 Malaysian ringgits for six diving spots (I can't remember clearly, please correct the price if it is wrong). Diving from more than nine in the morning to more than three, I will have lunch in Salang at noon. The overall feeling is super worth it. There are about 12 people on the boat, which is not a lot. When I was snorkeling, I encountered 20 people squeezed into one boat.
Overall, during the long weekend when airfares are soaring, Tioman is very suitable for a spontaneous Trip. The unpolluted ocean and the considerate and comfortable resort can choose to do activities for one day and lie down in the hotel for the rest of the time. It's awesome!
