I originally planned to live in Krabi for two months. Later, because I heard that the nightlife in Phuket was very good and lively, I changed my plan to go to Phuket. As a result, the nightlife in Phuket disappointed me. Let’s talk about Phuket’s nightlife in a moment. First, let me introduce Phuket Island based on my experience as a whole.

Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and one of the most expensive islands. I went to Koh Samui, the second largest island in Thailand, last year and the prices were cheaper. The traffic in Phuket is relatively treacherous, so novices are not recommended to ride motorcycles here. The largest number of foreigners here are Chinese and Russians (and some Ukrainians), followed by Arabic-speaking people from the Middle East and North Africa.

Highly commercialized, in the busiest Patong area, you rarely see local residents, most of them are locals who make money there. Most residents in this area live in Phuket Town to the east. Prices in Phuket Town are lower. The problem is that there is no beach there, and it is at least 20 minutes' drive from the busiest west coast.

In addition to Patong, other popular areas include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Kamala Beach, Surin Beach, and Bangtao Beach, all on the west coast, with Patong in the middle.

Stay:

After weighing factors such as price, convenience of life, and ease of picking up girls, I decided to live in the Patong area. I rode a motorcycle around and inquired about the price when I saw a suitable apartment (it is also recommended to use the renthub website to search for apartments). After shopping around (actually there were more than 30 apartments), I finally settled in this apartment called Baan Phureenut. I highly recommend it. Recommended, very cost-effective, and the location is very convenient. You can ride a motorcycle to Patong Beach in 5 minutes, and there is a large food supermarket at the door.

The rent is 10,000 baht per month, including WiFi and room cleaning (cleaning the room, changing sheets, towels, etc.) every three days. In addition, I need to pay a monthly water bill of 100 baht, and an electricity bill of 8 baht per unit (which only costs about 200 baht. I usually don’t use air conditioning unless I take a girl home).

Nightlife:

There are indeed many people in Phuket's nightlife, but the average quality is relatively low, and the ratio of men to women is imbalanced (excluding working girls). Occasionally, when you encounter beautiful women, they are often Russian girls who cannot speak English.

Nightlife in Phuket is concentrated on Bangla Road in the Patong area. A few hundred meters long road is full of bars and nightclubs, and admission is basically free. People who have little knowledge may be stunned by the scene, which is quite spectacular.

Although there are many people, there are not many beauties, and the streets are full of people who want to make money from you, such as shemales, prostitutes, people holding billboards, people selling cigarettes and marijuana, people selling toys, people selling cuteness... basically every time you walk there Someone "challenges" you within a few steps, which is quite off-putting. So, many times, when I approach a girl, she is more likely to automatically ignore me, even if I try to explain that I don't want to sell her anything.

The most famous nightclub on Bangla Road is Illuzion, ranked 48th in the world. It can accommodate thousands of people, has first-class lighting and sound equipment, and is free to enter. The problem is that the ratio of men to women is imbalanced, and there are too many Russian girls, most of whom don’t speak English. A big problem in nightclubs in Phuket is that there are no designated places for smoking. Smoking can be found everywhere, so the atmosphere is often smoky and bad for health. And there are many booths that cost a lot of money to go to, and you can't strike up a conversation with those beauties. All in all not a good place to pick up girls.

From the second floor of Illuzion, you can go directly to Empire, another nightclub that also belongs to his family. I also recommend Sugar, which is a hip hop club. I like hip hop very much, so I prefer to go here. From his home, you can go directly to another nightclub called Seduction. What is more recommended is Patong Beach, which is at the western end of Bangla Road. You can chat with beautiful women sitting on the beach without the interference of loud music and other people. I have had more success here than Bangla Road.

I spent about 22,200 baht in March, of which 10,000 was spent on accommodation and most of the rest was spent on food. Food is obviously more expensive than in Chiang Mai. Most roadside stalls in Chiang Mai start at thirty or forty baht, while in Phuket they start at sixty baht. I haven’t found a particularly cost-effective fruit shop in the Patong area. I suggest you go to Makro Supermarket to buy fruits, which can be cheaper. The total cost of leaving Phuket from April to the 24th was about 19,000 baht. In addition to food and accommodation, there were many massages.

Recommended massage parlors (regular, non-pornographic):

Sabai Sabai Massage, in Patong area, 150 baht per hour. When I first came to Phuket, I didn't plan to get a massage because the prices were obviously higher. I thought there would be no massage parlors like Chiang Mai that cost 150 baht per hour. Later, a young Russian tour guide who worked out with me recommended this shop to me. Not only was it 150 baht per hour, but it also got 1 free for every 10 purchases. I went 22 times a month. Recommended technician: Lucky, Noy.

It is recommended not to go for massage during peak hours (6pm to 10pm). Firstly, you may have to queue up. More importantly, the black-hearted boss ordered the massage technician to only press the massage for 45 minutes (my technician once told me that she would not go there next time). Give me the time, I didn’t want to embarrass her, so I agreed). Because she has a lot of customers, most of whom are tourists, she is not afraid of losing customers.

Restaurant recommendations:

Doo Dee Thai Food is a regular restaurant. The prices are basically the same as street stalls and there are many food choices. It is recommended.

Other seaside bar/nightclub recommendations:

Catch Beach Club, KUDO Beach Club and Café Del Mar (the most famous).

The above places are all expensive. Taking Catch as an example, the cheapest is water at 60 baht, the second cheapest is beer at more than 100 baht, and a cup of pineapple juice costs more than 200 baht (50 yuan), not including service fees. , other alcoholic drinks are more expensive, generally starting from 300 baht. So unless you are very rich, it is not recommended to come here to spend money. There are indeed many beauties.

Although it is a bar/nightclub, because it is on the beach, these places are also open during the day. You can sit on the beach during the day and wait for beautiful women to come to the beach before striking up a conversation.

Recommended attractions:

Karon Beach, Kata Beach: Better than the crowded Patong Beach, and not far away.

Kamala Beach: The famous Cafe Mel Mar is also here, which is convenient for picking up girls.

Surin Beach: The favorite beach of an Italian girl who has lived in Phuket for two years.

Bangtao Beach: Very long, less crowded and quieter.

Monkey Hill & Rang Hill: The two hills are not far apart, and there are monkeys on them. There are more tourists on Monkey Hill, and Rang Hill is quieter. I personally like Rang Hill better, but there are fitness equipment on Monkey Hill. very good. It is recommended to buy some peanuts or wool to feed the monkeys before going.

Big Buddha: The Big Buddha on the top of the mountain, but the Big Buddha I saw in Chiang Rai (Chiang Rai) is about three times as high as this.

Karon View Point, Black Rock Viewpoint, Ao Sane Beach, Windmill Viewpoint, Promthep Cape, Kao Khad Views Tower, Bang Wad Dam, Nai Yang Beach – Airport Viewpoint, Banana Beach, Freedom Beach.

I pushed down several Russian girls, one of whom’s grandfather was good friends with Vladimir Putin. I collected two North African flags that are difficult to collect: Tunisia and Morocco.

I pushed down a Ukrainian model living in China. I felt that she was completely spoiled by domestic boys. Although she was still very beautiful, she had begun to gradually gain weight, smoking and drinking. The first time we met, we chatted on the beach for a record-breaking 7 hours. I was finally pushed down the next day. Although she looked sexy, she didn't move or make a sound on the bed, which made me very disappointed. You still have the nerve to ask me, "Is this all you need?" (I have boasted that I am very good in bed before), sex is mutual, and both parties must be invested in it. It is not enough for a woman to be beautiful. (Ukrainian girls rarely sleep with you the first time they meet)

One of her beautiful Ukrainian best friends was kept by a greasy middle-aged Chinese government official. This middle-aged uncle was very rich and owned an airline. He was very strict with her and actually required her to dress appropriately when going out. She obviously only wants your money, but can you control her from liking a handsome young guy?

I met a rich woman from Australia through Tinder. I met her once and chatted with her and her god daughter by the pool, but there was no progress. Later I met a very sexy Australian girl on Tinder and arranged to meet. She said she was going to Catch Beach Club to meet a friend of her friend. I went to Catch with her and met her friend’s friend. It turned out that her friend’s friend’s friend (a rich Australian woman) happened to be there as well, and the situation was a little embarrassing. So if you can ask a girl out alone, you must ask her out alone.

I happened to meet the heroine of "Strong Story No. 4" on Bangla Road, but I didn't get it, unfortunately.

The ratio of the girls I knocked down using Tinder to the girls I knocked down by chatting up was 1:1. Usually, I knocked down more girls by chatting up, but because I realized that the success rate of hooking up in Phuket was very low, I decided to spend more time at work. And on meeting girls through Tinder. You can read the Tinder guide here.

In general, Phuket is not a good place to pick up girls (if you don’t speak Russian). If you like the beach and want to pick up girls, I recommend Koh Phiphi and Koh Samui. Koh Phangan.

Phuket is a huge island and it would take at least a week to see all the attractions. The peak season is between November and February, followed by March and April, and it often rains starting in May. Prices are higher during peak season.
