Krabi is a peninsula in southern Thailand. It faces Phuket across the Andaman Sea and is more wild and primitive. Huge karst rocks rise sharply from the blue water and are a world-famous rock climbing destination. If you are looking for a niche and fun island, Krabi is indeed a very good choice!
◆About the beach
Krabi has three main beaches: Ao Nang Beach, Railay Beach and Tuka Beach
[Ao Nang Beach]
Friends who like lively places can choose Ao Nang, which brings together bars, night markets and various beach resort hotels. It is the base camp for island hopping
[Railay Beach]
Suitable for friends who want to play rock climbing. The cliffs on the beach are steep and rocky. You can climb rocks, explore caves, and watch the most beautiful sunset in Krabi on the beach
[Tuka Beach]
The stationing area of high-star hotels, the beach is privately owned by the hotel, and the main feature is a secluded retreat, including Banyan Tree Krabi and Ritz-Carlton. However, it is very tiring to go out, so usually we just stay in the hotel.
◆About island hopping
There are more than 30 outlying islands scattered around Krabi, among which Phi Phi Island is the most classic. In addition to Phi Phi Island, Rock Island (very secluded, open from mid-October to mid-May every year), Hong Island (the filming location of the movie "Cutthroat Man"), and Lanta Island are 2 hours away by car and boat. It is more niche and quiet, suitable for staring at the sea and lying down. The quality of the beach and sea water will be higher, with a pristine natural landscape.
◆About visiting the night market
[Aonang Night Market] is the most famous night market in Krabi, selling many handicrafts, various Thai snacks, and performances from time to time
[Krabi Night Market] (Krabi Town Night Market) is on the walking street in Krabi, where you can buy various handicrafts and Southeast Asian floral shirts, which is more local than Aonang Night Market~
Opening hours: open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,
◆About transportation
Currently, there are not many domestic direct flights to Krabi, and generally you have to transfer in Phuket or Bangkok. There are tuk-tuks and taxis for internal transportation. It is recommended to use Grab~
