Charter a car from Bangkok to Hua Hin, 3.5 hours of Travel planning, Hua Hin attractions: Railway Market + Floating Market + Khao Long Cave, 3 local attractions you must see in Hua Hin.
Attraction 1: Meigong Railway Market
We set off at 9:00 in the morning, and the Journey took 1.5 hours. We hoped to catch the train at 11:10, so that we could take photos and experience the shopping fun of the railway market. The train would leave again at 11:30 on the same route, so it was just right to arrive before 11:00. The road was crowded with Tourists as if they were waiting for a big star to appear. When the train arrived at the station, the stall owners began to close the sheds and stalls in a tacit understanding to prepare for the train to enter and exit. The scene was very spectacular. The stall owners also reminded tourists where to stand. The train whistled past, which was a very exciting experience. Passengers on the train would also enthusiastically look out to take photos and say hello yoho~
The goods in the market are very cheap, especially the fruits. It is recommended to buy them here. A bag of wax apples is 40 baht, and mangoes are 100 baht, which is enough for a few days in Hua Hin. The tourist attractions behind are very expensive. Here we bought a bag of dried durian for only 200 baht, while a bag in Bangkok city is 300 baht. If you buy more, you can bargain.
Attraction 2 Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
It is the largest floating market in Bangkok, half an hour away from the railway market. It is currently open until 16:00 in the afternoon. You can have lunch here and stay for 2.5 hours. It is easy to be cheated when buying things, so you need to bargain. It costs 1,200 baht to rent a hand-rowed boat for 4 people for an hour (bargained to 1,000 baht). If it is an electric boat, it will be more expensive, and it depends on the number of people. You can rent a boat at the entrance of the parking lot. There are many people and many boats. There are tourists from all over the world. It feels like a crowded boat. There are many small boats on the river to sell snacks. You can enjoy the scenery while eating and drinking. The beer sold on the boat on the river bank is priced at 150 baht per bottle, which is... expensive! It is recommended to buy beer at the nearby 7-11 before boarding the boat
Attraction 3 Khao Long Cave
It is an hour's drive from the floating market. It is a natural stalactite cave. The ticket is 10 baht per person. There are Buddha statues in the cave. Many monks stop here to rest. The overall feeling is very mysterious. Natural light shines in from the cave entrance. The lighting is very special. There are many wild monkeys on the road, but the locals do not allow feeding, fearing that the whole group will rush towards you and it will be dangerous. You can get close to take pictures. Along the way, I saw nearly 50 monkeys walking around, as if I went to the monkey park.
