Pantjoran Chinatown, Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, the new Chinatown landmark in Jakarta

This Chinatown in PIK2 is the new Chinatown in Jakarta. The whole island is newly built, and some are still under construction. On one side is the sunny beach and Fisherman's Wharf, and on the other side is the old Chinatown in China. The contrast is quite pleasing.

I don't like Chinatown very much. After all, every time I go to a new place, I always want to have a more local experience; but I have been to many Chinatowns, and any Chinatown is more Chinese than China. Occasionally satisfy your Chinese stomach and satisfy the homesickness of the Travelers.
