Con Dao National Park has organized a quick hike to explore the green forests on the Co Ong - Dat Tham route to celebrate Vietnam Forestry Day on November 28.
The 12km Trip starts from Co Ong Ranger Station and takes visitors through the pristine forests with rich ecosystems. Participants will have the opportunity to encounter rare animals unique to Con Dao, such as black squirrels, monitor lizards, Nicobar pigeons, etc. The highest point of the trip is Nui Chua, 515m above sea level. From the top of the mountain, visitors will enjoy a circle of greenery with many rich plant species, from tall banyan trees to ancient trees with strange shapes, the highlight of which is the 400-year-old Noi tree, which makes people unable to hug it in its entirety. The guides of Con Dao National Park will provide a lot of interesting information about flora and fauna throughout the trip and guide the rules of environmental protection.
The destination of the trip is Dat Tham Ranger Station, where a wrap-up event will be held and gifts will be given to the first 3 guests who reach the destination. Here, Tourists will have lunch, visit and swim at Dat Tham Beach, one of the pristine and eco-friendly beaches, voted as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia by the British Independent Magazine.
The tour is limited to the first 50 guests who register. If registered before September 30, the package tour price (including Con Dao National Park entrance fee, transportation from the park headquarters to the departure point, T-shirt, lunch, fruits, drinks, Travel insurance) is VND 1,655,000 per person; from October 1 to 15, VND 1,730,000 per person; from October 16 to 30, VND 1,800,000 per person; guests registered between November 1 and 20 are VND 1,945,000 per person.
