Seize the tail of winter vacation and go on a spontaneous Trip. The leader is on a business trip to Manila. Long-term passports from the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia and other countries can be exempted from visas. The children just happened to have the last week of vacation, so they had to go with them.
The name of the hotel is Shangri-La the fort at BGC Manila. The hotel is located in the BGC area, which is the cleanest, most modern and safest in Manila. I personally think it is the first choice for living in Manila, followed by Makati District. The old city is really not recommended.
I used Grab to take a taxi throughout the Journey. Grab can be linked to Alipay for payment, which is very convenient, but the fee is deducted first. At the same time, it is also very convenient to order takeout with Grab! Hotel appearance and public areas: The hotel lobby style is slightly mediocre, marble + golden tones, no merits or demerits. There are a large number of doormen and concierges to provide services at any time. There is an outdoor swimming pool on the 8th floor of the hotel, and the fitness center on the 6th floor is quite large, with a good view and a full range of equipment. What is more distinctive is that all vehicles entering the hotel must go through the double inspection of the undercar detector and police dog that are only seen in American TV series, and all personnel entering the lobby must go through the security gate every time.
There is a children's activity center on the fifth floor of the hotel, which costs 800 pesos to play all day, which is very cheap. The staff is well equipped, and there will be singing and dancing at the top of the hour, and there will be a lot of interaction with the children. And the venue is cleaned and disinfected once every hour and a half, which makes people feel at ease. The hotel is in the core area of BGC, the most modern business center in Manila, surrounded by open-air parks, restaurants, and shopping malls.
This time I experienced breakfast and Cantonese Road Restaurant. There are not many types of breakfast, but the fierce fried noodles are highly recommended, and all kinds of freshly squeezed juices are also good. The Cantonese cuisine of Cantonese Road Restaurant is more difficult to describe, not recommended.
The room I stayed in was a deluxe shopping street view room, and there was no upgrade for whiteboard members. To be honest, the 16-year-old hotel is not well maintained, and the facilities are not modern. There is no coffee machine and the Minibar is empty. The plus point is the larger 45 square meters of space and the independent small bottles of spare parts that have not been seen for a long time. We communicated via email in advance and prepared red wine and handwritten greeting cards for the anniversary of the marriage certificate.
