I booked the Ritz-Carlton Hotel for a Trip to Jakarta, Indonesia. I thought it would be very ordinary before I went there, but it turned out to be okay. I booked the cheapest room, but there was no upgrade. There was a welcome drink (I felt it was guava ginger juice), but there was no welcome fruit/chocolate, but I arranged to check in 3 hours earlier, and I was given a lounge and buffet dinner. I ate 5 times in this hotel in one day.
The room is big, but very old. It feels comparable to the Sheraton Waigaoqiao in Shanghai. The socket is a universal plug. The toiletries are still small, but not diptyque (Picture 8). To be honest, this needs to be deducted. The supplies are too basic, and there are no basic razors/combs/female products. There is a bathtub, but they only provide soap, no bath salts.
Because it was raining heavily, I couldn't walk in the city, so I stayed to eat. The lounge tasted good and the service attitude was also very good. The seafood area, cold food area, dessert area and fruit area of the buffet dinner are great. There are also a lot of non-hotel guests, and the seats are basically full, so if you go late, the lobster will be gone. There is a place that has steak or something, and there are a lot of people. The overall service of the hotel is in place, and they will greet guests when they meet. Maybe I am used to the PUA of hotels in Singapore, and I even think that the price-performance ratio is good.
Price: 2,970,000 IDR (about 250 SGD)
