✨Day 1✨
Ride around the island by motorcycle (National Park, Old Town, Night Market). The motorcycle is rented from the hotel for 200 baht a day. There are not many cars on the island, and the roads are well maintained. I, a novice, have no problem getting on the road. The sea breeze is gentle along the way, and I occasionally see little monkeys on the roadside. I stop and take pictures when I see beautiful scenery. It's really comfortable.
🏝️National Park
You need to buy a ticket to enter the park, which is very cheap. The park is close to the sea, with a beach and a lighthouse, which is particularly beautiful. There is a hiking trail for more than an hour behind the parking lot. It is not difficult, but it will definitely make you sweat, and occasionally there will be little monkeys jumping out to say hi to you. Don't worry, they are not grumpy monkeys, they are all very cold and don't bother to pay attention to you.
🏝️Old Town, Night Market
The night market on Lanta Island is not in the old town, but in Saladan. The old town is a very short street with some small shops, selling small things with more Thai characteristics.
In the evening, I rode a scooter to the night market and spent half an hour there. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. It was indeed very lively, but the night market was relatively small, and there were not many foods to eat. I personally prefer those small restaurants near the hotel, which taste authentic and cheap.
✨Day 2✨
On the last day, I devoted all my time to the hotel and the beach. Because the purpose of this Trip was to slow down and give myself a few days to relax. I slept until I woke up naturally in the morning, and after breakfast, I stayed on the balcony of the hotel to read books and write Travel notes (yes, I started writing this travel note at that time, I am really a severe procrastinator). In the afternoon, I felt sleepy and went to Kongning Beach for a nap. In the evening, I watched a super beautiful sunset on the beach. This trip also ended perfectly with this sunset.
