After finishing our Trip to New Zealand, we transited in Singapore and stayed for one night because we couldn't connect to the flight. We stayed at the Royal @ Queens Hotel, an A-grade hotel in the Singapore Airlines Transit Hotel.

If you want to take the MRT when staying at this hotel before, you can only walk to City Hall Station or Bugis Station, both of which take 5-10 minutes. Now that the Yellow Line of the MRT is open, CC2 Bras Basah Station is just one or two minutes away from the hotel, which is much more convenient for Travelers staying here. If you want to eat, there is a Bugis food stall next to it, which is cheap and delicious. Although the hotel is a bit old and looks inconspicuous from the outside, the room has been renovated and has a comfortable Queen size bed, which is spacious and clean. (The public area is currently under renovation)

After using it, I found that the bathroom design was very bad. First, look at the shower curtain, which was installed too close to the wall (only about 50 cm from the wall), and the shower curtain would stick to my body when I took a shower. In addition, the bathtub drain pipe might be blocked by something, and the water drained very slowly. When I finished taking a shower, the bathtub was almost 1/3 full of water, and my feet were soaked in it, which felt very uncomfortable.

Generally speaking, the hardware is fine except for the bathroom. As for the service, the reception staff I met this time were all cold and indifferent, even worse than hotels in Hong Kong. I thought that people in Singapore who speak Chinese could understand Chinese, but several reception staff who looked like Chinese could not speak Chinese, and gave different answers to the questions I asked. I don't know if all hotels in Singapore are like this, or if it's just this hotel.
