Don't be lazy when Traveling to Indonesia. The long-awaited Trip to Indonesia is finally confirmed! I made a lot of strategies before departure, but I still stepped on a lot of pitfalls. This time I summarized some personal experiences, hoping that the sisters who are going to go will have less troubles and more joy in Traveling.
📝Travel checklist
✔️Travel preparation: passport-print hotel information-Indonesian rupiah-local phone card-visa-visa card
✔️Hiking equipment: assault jacket-hiking shoes-hiking poles-hiking backpack-insulated water bottle
✔️Small shoulder bag or backpack: It is highly recommended not to bring a canvas bag! It is easy to get volcanic ash and difficult to wash. It is used up and the whole dirty one is thrown away. It is best to bring a dark leather bag, which is easy to clean when it is dirty
✔️Conversion plug, toothbrush towel, personal toiletries
‼ ️The adapter is essential. As for other personal toiletries, although some hotels will provide them, I don’t dare to use them. It is recommended to bring them by yourself.
⚠Some tips to pay attention to:
1. Don’t drink raw water in Bali. It is recommended to buy bottled mineral water (dirty water disease is really scary...)
2. Protect your carry-on bags and personal belongings
3. Indonesia has a tipping culture, but you can refuse if you don’t want to give
4. There are many wild monkeys in Lover’s Cliff, so pay attention to safety (don’t touch them casually)
5. Bali’s attractions are very scattered. Don’t arrange too many attractions in one day, it will be very tiring
6. Bali is located in the tropics, with an annual temperature of about 28 degrees. Pay attention to sun protection and prepare mosquito bite cream
7. Exchange some Indonesian rupiah in advance in case of emergency (we can exchange with the guide, which is very convenient and considerate hahaha)
8. Penida Island is a must-visit attraction in Bali. Sisters with enough time can spend 2 days to play
9. The traffic conditions in Bali are really bad, so it is not recommended to rent a car by yourself. Even if you charter a car, you must confirm the itinerary with the driver in advance. Of course, it is better to follow the guide!
10. If you are traveling with a group, it is recommended that you find a regular local Tour operator, not an individual driver. Most of the itineraries are not guaranteed, and you must have a signed contract. If you are traveling during the National Day holiday, it is recommended that you contact them before traveling, and don't wait until you get there to rush.
