When Traveling in Taipei, the first impression of the buildings you see on the way to the hotel after getting off the plane may be ordinary or even shabby, but from the moment you start to go out and walk around, this impression will be covered by a more real feeling. From the main street to the small street stalls, there is almost no man-made garbage on the ground. I experienced the gentleness, kindness, humility and thriftiness of Taiwanese society and people.
Only the elderly sit in the dark seats marked as "priority seats" on the subway, and young people will not sit even if they stand; the queues for the subway are also orderly, and there will be no queue-jumping. The clerks in the small shops will manage the queues, and there will be no queue-jumping or queues blocking the road. On the basis of such orderliness, Taipei gives me the feeling of slow pace, leisure, fireworks, a well-developed real economy, and more free expression, so I don’t want to go back even if my waist hurts every day. Taipei is really a very charming city.
📝Some tips
🔸The "Beibeiche Luroufan" near Taipei Main Station is the most delicious braised pork rice I have ever eaten. I happened to search for it at that time. I ordered braised pork rice for lunch and my boyfriend ordered pork ribs soup. The first bite we took, we both said "Wow, it's delicious", and then I went to eat a large bowl of it again in the evening~
🔸 Personally, I think if you only stay for about three days, you don't need to buy EasyCard. It is very convenient to buy a one-way ticket every time, and you don't have to worry about returning the card and the balance.
🔸 There is actually no need to buy a ticket to view the view of the 101 building. Go to Simple Kaffa (Xingbo Coffee) and you can see the view from the 88th floor for a minimum of NT$225 per person (although it is also average, not as good as the view on the ground, but it can be considered a check-in
