Watch the sunset over the Chao Phraya River from the Grand Palace

The free photo taking location is here. Starting from Wat Arun, you can take a ferry from Pier 4 to the Grand Palace Pier on the other side. It costs 5 baht per person. Navigate to before sunset on foot and you can walk to the best sunset viewing point in a few minutes.

If you come from somewhere else, just navigate and search to before sunset. Don't go too early. The wind on the Chao Phraya River is quite strong and uncomfortable. Go around 6pm to see the whole process of sunset changes. Stay until 6:30pm to see Wat Arun slowly light up.
