I stayed at Diamond West Lake Apartment in Hanoi. After checking in, I went out to find food. As soon as I walked out of the hotel, I saw this restaurant, Chào Bạn - Vietnamese restaurant, which is a creative fusion of Vietnamese and French cuisine. There was a Michelin award for two consecutive years on the wall, so I decided to eat there. It was not open for business at 5:30, and the waiter asked me to come back in a few minutes. After a walk, I found that the seats inside were all reserved in advance. We only had two outdoor tables to use. People kept coming to ask about it, so we had to wait.
Two people ordered three dishes and a dessert. p4 Banana flower chicken salad, I thought there were bananas in it, but banana flowers are actually the stamens of banana trees, which are the ones in the picture. It tastes good and unlocks a new ingredient. Picture 5 is crab meat spring rolls, which are very delicious. Crab meat and vegetables, dipped in sauce, are invincible. Picture 6 Pork ribs, will be served with a bowl of white rice. The ribs are very Su, very tasty, a little sweet but not as sweet as sweet and sour ribs, and not greasy to eat. It is perfect with rice.
The three dishes were quickly finished, and a dessert was added, red bean, banana, coconut and fruit mixed ice cream. Finally, I had a dessert that was not too sweet in Vietnam. The fruit underneath made the taste more layered, which was very satisfying. The final bill, including 10% service charge, was 700,000 Vietnamese dong, and the average per capita consumption was only 15 US dollars. Compared with the prices in other Asian cities, it feels very cost-effective. You can search on Google Maps. It is a bit far from the city center, and many customers also take a taxi to eat here. If you have time, you can go and check it out.
