From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, there are choices of transportation by plane, by train, and by car. It would be advisable to travel by plane, as kills the dangers of trains in Vietnam being administered. Train travel takes far too long and is tiresome.
Travel free; airplane takes two hours and costs higher while the train takes thirty-six to forty-four hours; four express trains a day; soft sleeper for sixty-five dollars; hard sleeper for forty-six dollars. Better to take a tour on a car, about a week from Hanoi to Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Nai Cape to Saigon, costing something over thirty dollars.
