Tainan City Walk, travel tips from locals, visit Chihkan Tower and Shennong Street

This is my 4th visit to Tainan! This time I stayed in the same place I stayed when I first came to Tainan. My landlord helped me plan a City Walk route to relive my Trip to Tainan. I’ll share it with you:

Day 1:
Jinfu eel pasta + fried sesame oil pork loin (No. 46, Section 1, Fuqian Road)
Sun Brand Ice City (On Minquan Road behind Jinfu, about a 2-minute walk)
Lin Department Store (No. 63, Section 2, Zhongyi Road)
Visit Wu Temple and Tianhou Temple, drink two-corner silver winter melon tea
Songcun smoked Luwei (No. 319, Section 2, Minzu Road)
Night visit to Chihkan Tower
Night visit to Shennong Street 2

Day 2:
Xi Luodian beef soup (No. 98, Park South Road)
Yongle Market - Fushenghao rice cake + Asong Gua Bao + mushroom rice soup + spring rolls (choose to eat)
Anping eats Zhou’s shrimp rolls (or Chen’s oyster rolls) + visits Anping Old Street + visits Anping Fort + Anping Douhua + Branch Office + Sicao Taijiang Tour Green Team Road
Sunset viewing platform
Xiaohaozhou Shachalu (No. 11, Lane 138, Zhongzheng Road, West Central District)
Visit the Garden Night Market at night (pay attention to which night market is open)

Day 3:
Ahan Milkfish Salty Porridge + Youtiao (No. 169, Gongyuan South Road) (or Atang Salty Porridge 700 No. 728, Section 1, Ximen Road, West Central District, Tainan City)
Nameless Douhua (behind Ahan) + Liandetang Pancake (No. 54, Chong'an Street)
Visit the Literature Museum (former Tainan City Government Baroque building)
Visit the Confucius Temple + Fuzhong Street
Eat Fuji Meatballs (No. 215, Section 1, Fuqian Road)
Lily Ice Fruit Room (No. 199, Section 1, Fuqian Road)
Visit the former Tainan District Court (Baroque building)
Visit Tainan Museum of Art 2
