Or consider using a private car, a taxi, or an app, like Grab, that will transport you from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. But what's really interesting about this alternative way is that it will be the modestly most comfortable town-to-town ride available. It can cost substantially, however, considering that your journey will take about 1.5-2 hours. Expect to pay anything from general VND 600,000-900,000 (USD 25-40) depending on what kind of vehicle you choose and the traffic volume.
The Journey of the Night Train
Train 3568-It is an express high-speed train that goes from Hanoi to the Hanoi Central Station, leaving this capital city at about 9 PM. It reaches its destination around 7 AM the next morning.
